About Aimedee

Ballet/ Jazz/ Contemporary/Hip-Hop

Aimedee, known as Ms. Dee, is a lifelong lover of dance and creative movement. She began dancing at the age of 8, and never stopped! She is formally trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Soca. She studied under the University of Calgary's Contemporary Dance program while completing a Visual Arts Major.

Her professional career spans from formerly being a Hip-Hop and Krump dancer with the dance companies MPACT and Empirical Freedom. She has been teaching dance for a decade, and since her undergrad she spent a few years as a preschool teacher before becoming a principal and early childhood educational expert.

Some fun facts about her! She is a cat lover, a travel/beach enthusiast, and loves eating Neapolitan pizza with her husband. She is very excited to work with her students and share her pedagogy to guide children's creativity, technique, and love of dance.
