In conjunction with the Concert Gala at the Calgary Zoo, there will be a composing contest held at the studio. This is a great chance to be creative while still working off of a specific theme. The theme for this composition is the erhu (Chinese violin with 2 strings) and pandas. A good place to get inspiration for this composition would be the Kung Fu Panda films. Check out Kung Fu Panda 3 to hear Guo Gan's erhu playing. Guo Gan, who will be performing at the Concert Gala, will be selecting the winner.

The winner of the contest will get 4 tickets to the Concert Gala at the Calgary Zoo and the opportunity to perform with Master Guo Gan and Ms. Jessica.
