About Anya

Flute/ Art

 

Anya has been playing the flute for over 16 years, receiving training through the Royal Conservatory of Music, and winning the silver medal for Grades 1 & 2. She is currently pursuing further certification through RCM, and is excited to teach Flute and Art at the Academy.

 

Anya is a graduate of the Alberta University of the Arts (2017) with her BFA in Drawing and minor in Animation - so she is passionate about the value of visual art & art education! 

She has taught both private and group lessons through a variety of media & techniques, over 6+ years of art-instructing experience. She loves empowering students to explore new ways of expressing themselves and the world around them.

 

In her spare time Anya knits, bakes, and jams on the ukulele - and she is continuing her teaching adventures with Viva Musica!
