Year End Performance
t’s time to get ready for our big performance!
Our annual year-end recital will be held on two dates this year:
Saturday, June 20
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
and
Monday, June 22
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
We will be going back to our next-door neighbors,
Royal Oak Victory Church,
(#450 Royal Oak Drive NW, Calgary, AB T3G 5J7)
for both dates.
We will also have a Candy Shoppe!
Chocolate and candy bars for everyone
including performers, families, and guests for both performance dates.
Our art teacher, Mr. Mark,
will be also be hosting a crafting session in the church foyer
during the Saturday performance for younger siblings attending who need a short break before they come back in to watch.

SATURDAY TIMELINE
For instrumentalists who need tuning prior to show (violin cello harp)
1:30 PM Arrival
For first half performers dancers and instrumentalists (pianists guitar)
1:50 PM Arrival
For all other second half performers dancers and instrumentalists
3:30 PM Arrival
Saturday dancers will have their regular dance class with Ms. Hana on Saturday morning. Thursday dancers with Ms. Maya will have rehearsal at the dance hall from
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM.
MONDAY TIMELINE

Digital certificates for the year’s completion
will be sent via email individually by mid July.
If you want your certificate printed,
please request it directly from
the front desk.
MYC MB3 Graduation medals will
be handed out on stage
after each medalist has performed.

This summer 2025, go on a musical tour of Europe!
WATCH and MEET
world-famous pianist Lang Lang perform live in Berlin.
Learn in master classes with
French professors in Paris,and perform in St. Madeleine’s,
the historical church where Chopin’s funeral was held.
This is an all-inclusive European musical tour with concert tickets, visits entrance tickets, master class registration,
and 8 minutes recital segment at the St. Madeline Paris.
Travel, accommodation, and meals included.
GMAC Honour Program
The GMAC is a virtual music competition
established in California by
professional musicians and educators.
Online competitions allow students the opportunity
to set and achieve goals, foster musical growth,
and build confidence and a portfolio for
future scholarship applications & resumes.
Competitions are held monthly,
open to all ages and nationalities,
and present different challenges
In January 2023 our student Andrew Wang
was their most exceptional performer winner!

He used his certificate plus
a letter of recommendation from Ms. Jessica
and he received a $500 scholarship
from a local community organization.
We have had numbers of students winning
multiple award certificates from them.
These certificates can be used to apply
for different school scholarships
or charitable foundations across the city/province.
Students can register for a one-time competition,
or enroll in the honors program to get more involved.
