• Viva Musica Choir will meet every 2-3 weeks on Fridays at 5pm and is taught by Ms. Marissa, the academy's voice teacher.

• Technique, as well as repertoire in different genres will be covered.

• There will be at least two performance opportunities a the June year end recital & at the New Silk Road Series with Guo Gan in October at the Bella Concert Hall.

Guo Gan is a composer and Concert Erhu Virtuoso artist. Last year, his songs were performed by more than 50 school choirs. In Asia, his songs, performed in both Chinese and English were recorded by Chinese Central TV. The European portion of this project was performed and filmed with the Vienna Boys Choir. The songs there were sung in English, German, and Chinese. The goal of the program is to extend this project to North America, and Viva Musica is honoured to launch this project in our Calgary community. Choir will be filmed and recorded at the New Silk Road concert with Master Guo and Ms Jessica on October 20, 2018 at the MRU Bella Concert Hall.

The choir program is $20 for Viva Musica students.

The price for non-students is $60. 

Registration is open for the next choir rehearsal on May 11, 2018.

We recommend attending 1-2 optional summer rehearsals if possible, and 3-4 rehearsals from May-June and September-October.
